Volunteer
Here's how you can help make Grizzly Peak a clean and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy!
1. Grab trash. We'd love your help at our next event - keep an eye on our Cleanups page, or email me to be added to our announcement list!
2. Give back. We're an all-volunteer organization, and we burn through cleanup supplies and cash pretty quick. Visit our Amazon Wishlist or Venmo to give back!
3. Get political. We live in the richest part of the richest country on Earth - our common areas should look like Denmark, not a dump. Contact Grizzly Peak's public servants and ask them to adopt the common-sense strategies discussed on our Views page:
- The UC Regents and UC Berkeley's Zero Waste Program.
- Oakland Public Works and OAK311.
- Janani Ramachandran, Oakland District 4.
- The East Bay Regional Park District.
- Brent Blackaby, Berkeley District 6.
- Nikki Fortunato Bas, Alameda County District 5.
- Buffy Wicks, State Assembly District 14.
- Tim Grayson, State Senate District 9.
