Mass Surveillance is Un-American

Having spent the past several years cleaning up trash for free, I've developed a pretty good nose for garbage. Grizzly Peak was bad, and the Albany Marsh worse, but Berkeley's mass surveillance Flock cameras stink.

I don't know how it came to pass that the city that invented the free speech, anti-war, and environmental movements approved warrantless mass surveillance by unaccountable tech billionaires using planet-cooking AI to create Orwellian dossiers on all their citizens, but here we are. As with actual trash, it's on us to clean it up.

I'll be hosting an ongoing series of Flock protests until this un-American trash is dragged off to the dump. We'll choose a different camera site each week - not hard to do given there are 53 in Berkeley alone.
